Do You Really Need a Corner Building with Two Frontages?
Many people ask me why I even considered buying such a large building. The truth is, my wife and I are just a young couple with stable jobs. But when thinking about our children's future, I always want to create a solid foundation. Not everyone has the means to provide a good life for their children, so I want to try my best.
The good thing is, this building isn't a small apartment. It's a corner building with two frontages, right at the Điện Biên Phủ roundabout in District 1. Measuring 8.5x17m, with a recognized land area of 140m2, a total floor area of approximately 1000m2, and 1 basement with 7 floors. Honestly, I was also worried about the large investment amount. But after researching thoroughly, I realized this was an opportunity I couldn't miss.
Location, Location, and Location
I'm not a real estate expert, but I understand one thing: location is the most important factor. The Điện Biên Phủ roundabout is one of the busiest intersections in Saigon. This area is home to many offices, shops, and restaurants. Renting out this building will definitely not be difficult. Currently, the building is being offered for rent at 350 million VND per month. This figure is enough to give me peace of mind about the cash flow.
More Than Just Money, It's About the Future
I'm not just thinking about renting it out to make money. I want this building to become an asset for my children later on. They might use it to open an office, a shop, or simply rent it out for extra income. Importantly, it's a tangible asset, not just virtual numbers on the stock market.
Things to Consider
Of course, buying a building isn't an easy decision. I had to consider many factors, such as bank interest rates, maintenance costs, and market risks. I also consulted with friends, family, and real estate professionals. Ultimately, I decided to go through with it because I believe this is a worthwhile investment.
I also want to share one thing: don't focus too much on “flipping” real estate. I'm not buying this building to sell it for a profit in the short term. I'm buying it to hold, to save for my children. I think this is a safer and more sustainable way to invest.
Overall, I'm very happy with my decision. I hope these shares will be helpful to those who are considering investing in real estate. I wish everyone finds an investment that suits them.
