Many people think a main road frontage is premium, but living here, you realize the traffic can be a bigger issue. I've lived near Vo Van Kiet for over a decade, and Ansana is different. Not an advertisement, but a reality. If you're considering this area, here are 3 things I've learned:
1. Choose the Right 'Main Axis'
Vo Van Kiet is several kilometers long, and not all sections are the same. The previous section was full of trucks and containers, but Ansana is located in a section that has been planned, with much smoother traffic. Importantly, it connects directly to the city center, taking only 20 minutes to Ben Thanh Market, without worrying about red lights or flooding like in other areas. I once got stuck in traffic on Nguyen Trai Street, and I still have nightmares about it. Ansana solves this problem.
2. Important 'Traffic Hub'
Ansana isn't just Vo Van Kiet. It's also a connection point with other routes like Ten Lua Street, near Aeon Mall, and only 5-10 minutes to Districts 5, 6, and Cho Lon. This is important because it saves you travel time, especially if you have young children or commute long distances. I've seen many people buy houses only looking at the project, not caring about the surrounding traffic, and then regret it.
3. Gateway to the Mekong Delta: Easy Travel & Homecoming
If you often travel to the Mekong Delta or like to visit neighboring provinces, Ansana is a great choice. It's a gateway to the Mekong Delta, making travel much more convenient than in other areas. I often visit my hometown in Tien Giang, and with Vo Van Kiet, I can go straight there, saving a lot of time.
Overall, Ansana has a pretty good location, but don't just listen to salespeople. Go and survey the area yourself, experience it firsthand, and then make a decision. I've seen many people buy a house and then realize there's nothing around, or the traffic is terrible. Don't let that happen to you.
