Our First Days in Thao Dien
We, a young family with two small children, decided to move to Thao Dien 5 years ago. At that time, my husband had just been promoted, his work was busier, and we wanted to find a quiet, safe place for our children to grow up. Thao Dien was then a perfect choice. The small, tree-lined streets, the luxurious villas, and especially the absolute security made us feel that this was an ideal place to build a family home.
Concerns About Space
The current villa is over 1150m2, with a 3-story architecture, located near the river, in one of the most secure areas of Saigon. When we first moved in, we thought this space was more than enough. But as the children grew older, the family's needs also changed. The children needed a larger garden to play in, a more private space to study and develop. We began to feel that the house was becoming cramped, not enough to meet the increasing needs of the family.
The Journey to Find a New Home
We started looking for other houses that were more suitable. We looked at many projects, from luxury apartments in the city center to riverside villa areas. But nothing really satisfied us. Some apartments were too small, lacking enough space for the children to play. Some villa areas were too far from the center, making it difficult to travel and take the children to school. We once considered renovating and expanding the current villa, but the cost was too high and the construction time was prolonged, affecting the family's daily life.
A Difficult Decision
After months of searching and considering, we decided to transfer ownership of this villa to find a house more suitable for the family's needs. This decision was not easy. We had been attached to this house for 5 years, and there were many beautiful memories here. But we believe that finding a more suitable living space will help our family grow and be happier. This villa has a great location at 24 Nguyen U Di, Thao Dien Ward, District 2, with an area of 1150m2 (22m wide x 50m long), with 3 floors and a selling price of 330 billion (286 million/m2). We have found a larger plot of land in a more convenient location, where we can build a new house according to our wishes.
Unforgettable Memories
We will always remember the weekend afternoons gathering together in the garden, the cozy birthday parties with friends and relatives, and the peaceful moments watching the poetic Saigon River. This villa is not just a house, but a part of our family's memory. We hope that the new buyer will continue to cherish and love this house as we once did.
