From the Hustle in the City Center
My husband, Minh, and I are both office workers, accustomed to the fast pace of life in Saigon. In the early years of our careers, we chose to live in the city center for convenience and proximity to entertainment. But when our daughter, An, was born, things began to change. The small, noisy apartment, lacking play space, made the whole family feel suffocated. Every evening, after work, I just wanted to come home to hug my daughter, but the cramped space made me feel helpless. An was often fussy, had trouble sleeping, and I knew she needed a quieter, more natural living environment.
The Worry of Finding a True 'Nest'
We started searching for a new place to live, a place that could meet the needs of the whole family. Our top criteria were safety, quietness, and space for An to play and develop. We looked at many projects, from luxury apartments to suburban townhouses. But all of them had their own limitations. Apartments were too small, lacking green space. Townhouses were too far from the center, inconvenient for commuting. I started to feel discouraged, wondering when I would find a place that truly suited my family.
Thao Dien - Fate from a Chance Encounter
A friend in the real estate industry introduced us to the Thao Dien area, District 2. Initially, I wasn't very impressed, as I hadn't researched the area. But when I visited, I was completely surprised. Thao Dien is a quiet, lush residential area with many luxurious villas and townhouses. The roads are wide, clean, and the air is fresh. In particular, Thao Dien has many international schools, hospitals, and other amenities for families. We drove along Nguyen U Di Street, and were immediately attracted by a front-facing villa, number 11. This villa has an area of 764.7m2, with a modern, luxurious architecture, a spacious garden, and a private swimming pool. It has 2 floors, 1 basement, and faces West-South. The selling price is around 350 billion VND, equivalent to 450 million VND/m2. We looked at many other properties, but this one really made us feel like 'this is where we belong'.
A 'Risky' Decision and the Wonderful Things That Followed
Deciding to buy this villa was not an easy decision. The amount of money spent was very large, exceeding our financial capacity. But after careful consideration, we decided to 'take a risk' once, borrowing more money from the bank and relatives to fulfill our dream of a true home. And we didn't regret it. Since moving to Thao Dien, our family's life has changed completely. An has a spacious area to play and explore. She loves running in the garden, swimming in the pool, and making friends with birds and butterflies. I can spend more time with my daughter, reading with her, playing games, and cooking delicious meals. Minh also feels more comfortable, no longer pressured by work and the hustle and bustle of life. In the evening, the whole family often sits in the garden, drinking tea, chatting, and watching the stars. We feel happier and more peaceful than ever.
Advice from Someone Who Has Been There
If you are looking for a quiet, safe, and natural living environment for your family, I recommend considering the Thao Dien area. This is a livable area, with many high-quality amenities and services. Don't be afraid to invest a large sum of money to get a true home, because that is a worthwhile investment for the future of your family. Currently, we are planning to move to another city to develop our careers, so we are considering transferring this villa. Hopefully, it will find new owners who love and cherish this wonderful living space.
